Mach Account

Mach is a VUB server managed by the RC. Having an account on this machine gives you access to e-mail and other internet related facilities. This account is UNIX-based. You need this account to apply for an Infogroep account (needed to use the pcs at 1E) or Wilma account. It takes about 24 hours to validate the account.

Infogroep Account

The Infogroep accounts are used for the computers in 1E1, 1E2, 1E3, 1E4 and 1E7. If you're a student from the sciences faculty you also get a Wilma account. Remember that Wilma is meant to be used for research only. You need a Mach account to apply for these accounts.
